Paul Billingham


Formerly Commercial Director of Opal Telecom Limited, the B2B fixed line operation of the Carphone Warehouse Group plc (now known as Talk Talk Business), where his role encompassed M&A and Commercial Finance. With over 20 years experience in the TMT sector Paul has worked for a number of channel focused, high growth and market leading companies that have realised £millions in value to shareholders. During this time, Paul completed multiple company acquisitions and business disposals and also took Non-Executive Directorships in smaller TMT businesses.

Adam Zoldan


20 years experience in the telecoms and technology sector. He was formerly a shareholder and Managing Director of V Networks Limited which was acquired by Opal Telecom in September 2008. Prior to this he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance as lead advisor for telecommunication transactions. During this time he sold companies including Via.Networks, PSInet Europe, Tele2 and Cable Telecom and advised some of the UK’s leading carriers including Thus, NTL, and Orange.

Tom Jones

Associate Director

Tom joined Knight in 2015 having previously worked in Transaction Services for Grant Thornton. He’s worked on over 30 transactions with the business, comprising a mix of private equity, debt funding and trade sales from both buy-side and sell-side. Outside of work, you’ll find him walking his dogs, contemplating going for a run, or talking about that Guinness World Record…

Ajay Shah

Marketing and Business Development Manager

Ajay joined Knight in 2017 having previously managed international bids and proposals for ACC Liverpool. He is responsible for developing new business, direct through business owners and through intermediaries as well as managing Knight's marketing activities. Outside of work Ajay enjoys travel, football (watching and occasionally playing) and climbing.

David Middleton

Corporate Finance Executive

David joined Knight in October 2018 having spent the five previous years working in commercial audit for Grant Thornton. He is responsible for being a day-to-day point of contact throughout the preparation, marketing and execution of a transaction and has worked on a number of deals in the IT & telecoms sector since joining. If not in the office, David can be found hacking his way around around Lymm Golf Club, supporting Manchester City or making his way through a nice bottle of Bordeaux (usually the latter).

Dom Lillie

Senior Corporate Finance Executive

Prior to joining Knight, Dom qualified as a chartered accountant in 2016 having spent time in Audit and Corporate Finance for a mid-tier firm. Dom has experience working in the lead advisory team on disposals and fundraising across a variety of industries including construction, retail, training and manufacturing. Outside of work, Dom is a keen footballer playing for Wythenshawe Amateurs in the North West Counties league.

Dan Gibson

Corporate Finance Executive

Dan has worked in the Corporate Finance Advisory space since 2014 and has dealt with a wide range of businesses and organisations, from owner-managed SMEs through to public sector clients. He has previously worked with businesses in a number of industries including Tech, Film and Media, advising clients through a range of transactions, as well providing wider operational support. Outside of work, Dan spends most of his time planning for his wedding in Cyprus and has a keen interest in cigars.

Kelly Edwards

Office Manager

Kelly joined Knight Corporate Finance in 2009 having previously worked as the Office Manager at V Networks for 3 years. Her role at Knight is to manage all accounts and HR matters. Outside of work Kelly enjoys running and spending time with her children.

Charlotte Timmis

Office Manager

Charlotte has worked for Knight Corporate Finance since 2011 as Office Manager for the Warrington office. Prior to joining Knight, Charlotte worked within the telecommunications industry for 15 years. Outside of work Charlotte enjoys spending time with her family, attending the gym and then wasting the gym sessions by socialising with friends.
